My wife and I are so happy with our new pup, Indy! We were nervous at first to get a
6 month old pup (Jenny/cesar), but this pup was Roxanne’s pick for us and she really nailed it.
I work on the water for long stretches and we wanted a good calm, loving companion with chill energy for my wife to have while I was gone, and that’s exactly Indy! Really felt listened to and that a great match was made. Indy was very nervous when we first got him, he was barely walking and had to be carried into the car and house. Total pancake! He didn’t use the bathroom for the first whole day and was very deflated. BUT, as time went on he came out of his shell. He is an incredibly loving dog with such a chill temperament, just a wonderful addition to the family (he’s even working on making the cat like him… not quite there yet though). Loves to be right with us, walking is so easy, he goes ahead and then waits. Also, it was a great decision to go with an older pup, already trained to hold it and sleeps through the night! Indy still has litter mates and if they are anything like him, they are great dogs! Thank you to Roxanne and everyone at goldenridge! 5 stars! Chris and Emmy Brodeur
1-9-23 Thank you for your review ….as I share with all getting an older pup they are leaving EVERYTHING THEY HAVE EVER KNOW……It takes time for adjustment to new home environment. Roxanne Ellsworth we picked up Daisy on December 6, and she turned 6 mos old on Christmas. Pipin/Leo June 25, 2023. She is the MOST loving animal! She knows sit, and down. She’s working on “off” and we are learning how to teach her “come here” and “stay”. Her answer to almost everything is to flop down and roll over. We adore her!

She is settling in beautifully. All three dogs just romped around in the muddy backyard. She is already learning to come on command and loves playing ball.

You probably don’t remember me, but I got a Cesar/ Tasha puppy from you in May. He will be one tomorrow and I wanted to tell you how over the moon in love I am with this boy. I lost my Marley 7 months before I got Bentley. Marley was my soul dog for sure and I never thought I would never have another dog who compared to him. I was totally wrong, I swear Bentley is identical in every way to him. He is my shadow and my protector and literally the best dog. I just wanted to say thank you again!
We picked up our second GoldenRidge pup today(Darcy/Remington). We absolutely love our first one Finley(Gabrielle/Winston) he is the most well behaved lovable guy, we decided we have to have another one and he needed a play buddy. On the ride home I already knew this one was going to be just as great, he put his head on my lap and was so calm all the way home. When we got home he made himself right at home and Finley and him have hit it off great. I highly recommend GoldenRidge there is just something about the quality of their dogs that they are born with great personalities and so well behaved and easy to train. Great visit today at Golden Ridge Kennels. Picked up my second baby girl after 5 years. Nothing like a Golden Ridge golden. Roxanne and Les always go the extra mile with their puppies. In fact Roxanne let me come day earlier to accommodate my schedule, even with their very busy schedule. Highly recommend this lovely young lady and her goldens, if you are looking for a positive adoption experience. Roxanne has always been there for me when I have had questions. Thank you Roxanne and Les.
Roxanne is a pheonominal breeder. It is clear she is very selective in her choices for breeding. These babies and their parents are well loved (spoiled ) and so eager to reflect that love back. I cannot wait to add another one to our family!

He is doing great, Roxanne! Our GSD (Cassie) is guiding him gently – she likes him and he likes her. Heis a spitfire! He took a short walk on a leash yesterday and this morning – he walks right along side us. And he is going outside (thanks for the sawdust!) in the back yard. He is free feeding, drinking, and loves his crate – slept 4 hours, went out to pee/poop, and slept 4 more hours. Woot! Right now he is sleeping – he wore himself out in the back yard playing with Cassie! PS – Your employee Ricky is very professional, clearly knows dogs, and, well, he is a delight. You have great employees!
Forgot to say- he has great off lead recall at 8 weeks! We took turns calling him back and forth across the back yard and made a big stink out of it when he came- amazingly smart and people oriented pup- we are just SO impressed with his personality- you clearly do a bunch of socialization work with the pups/ you’re good, Roxanne! Freakin great breeder!

We are absolutely in love with our puppy, Rosie!! My goldens are split on their feelings for her. One week down, forever to go! 💛 I can not get over how good of boy our Koda is! People compliment how well behaved he is for a puppy all the time and he has the sweetest and most calm/relaxed demeanor. He has not had one accident in the house since we brought him home, officially rings his bells on the door as of yesterday to let me know he needs to go out, sleeps through the night and knows sit, paw, down, up (stands on his backs legs). We are currently working on stay, come and place.
Roxanne, I can not thank you enough for blessing our family with Koda (Lyla/Duncan). I’ve had multiple people ask where I got him from because they just instantly fell in love with him. The time and care you put into your dogs is truly evident and undeniable. 💙🐾
